Another endorsement for Horner! Are you joining Quie, Carlson and Ventura at a Horner news conference announcing your endorsement, Newt?

The SCSU poll was the only poll I can remember that at least partially picked up on the late Ventura surge in 1998. In 2010, they’re not picking up on a Horner surge — they have him at 19%, 21 points behind the leader. The SCSU poll finds Dayton by ten points over Emmer – 40% to 30%.

And the SCSU poll finds only 28% of Horner supporter express certainty in their choice, which could make the last week volatile if the 72% of Horner supporters who say they are uncertain about their choice start getting happy feet over electability.

Interestingly, SCSU also had Horner in third if ranked choice voting were being used. Minnpost’s Eric Black has some great analysis of this issue.
