Don’t believe me? Pick up a Sunday newspaper or hit Google News. Hillary Clinton is nowhere to be seen except in passing references in articles on other subjects (in the New York Times, for example, she’s most prominent in an article exploring the question of who might be the first woman president in some future election). The story count for “Obama seeks focus on end of primary campaign” is 1182; “Clinton rallies Kentuckians” gets 16 story links.
This is not a conspiracy, it’s something that in its way is crueler; it’s the collective judgment that Hillary’s no longer newsworthy. Judging by the few stories they’re filing, the reporters following her campaign are doing so primarily to document the end.
