Thanks to the reporting of Brad Haynes on the WSJ.com, I learned today that Norm Coleman has found a part time job — well, maybe it’s a fulltime job but either way it will be only a temporary job, you see, because The Republican Jewish Coalition, which has hired him as a consultant and strategic adviser for now, is nonetheless confident Coleman will be returning to his Senate seat soon.
But just in case, he asked to have his Senate office in D. C. re-opened so he could clean out a few things. Stuff and such.
Meanwhile, Al Franken was hanging out with Sen. Harry Reid, supposedly talking about senatorial issues and getting up to speed so that when he’s finally seated, he can, as he put it, “hit the ground running,” which is sort of funny when you think about him trying to be seated and run at the same time.
It’s all a bit of a quandry. As Coleman put it: “I’m a Jewish kid from Brooklyn but now I think I know what purgatory is.”

That “purgatory” line from Coleman is priceless.
Yeah..all of Minnesota now know what purgatory is, too…
