Kessler caught up with former Minnesota Senator Dean Barkley, the man who was sworn into office by former Governor Jesse Ventura abruptly following former Senator Paul Wellstone’s tragic plane crash. The circumstances were quite chaotic as you will find out. But what is even more interesting is how he has been keeping himself busy today, now that he is happier than ever. Take a look.

Wonderful little story. Have to love Mr. Barkley’s perspective–seems like a genuinely peaceful fellow.

Speaking of Hillary–the Star/Trib ran a beautiful Maureen Dowd column on her this morning. Back to Hillary: a very, very bright woman with just super-human tenacity and chief-exec potential who is about to lose out on her life-quest.
